Date: April 2, 2026. Namchi: The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Sikkim Government College, Namchi, successfully organized a cleanliness drive across the college campus today. The initiative was conducted with the approval of the college authorities and in collaboration with the institution’s Nature Club.
The drive commenced at 1:00 PM and witnessed active participation from both faculty members and students. As per the directive of the Principal, attendance was made mandatory for all undergraduate and postgraduate students to ensure maximum involvement.
Heads of Departments (HoDs) were entrusted with the responsibility of allocating specific areas to students. These included the campus surroundings, washrooms, and the corridors of the Main Building and Science Building.
The collective effort and enthusiastic participation of all stakeholders contributed to the successful execution of the cleanliness drive, reflecting the institution’s commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment
